"Genuinely couldn’t recommend the Lakeside enough. Catherine was so helpful and genuinely thought of things that we didn’t even think of ourselves. Nothing was an issue, anything we wanted / requested to be changed was done with no further questions. It was such a relaxed planning process. The food was cooked the exact way we requested and everyone is still talking about the food, it really was exceptional, the vegetable soup and beef seemed to be the real crowd pleasers. If you are considering the lakeside at all, I would go with it, from the gardens outside to the lake view reception and the lake view bridal suite, we couldn’t fault it".
"We had our wedding here on the 7th of August it was the most fabulous setting , the staff were absolutely amazing the food was incredible and everything was absolutely perfect. We had Catherine Lewis wedding coordinator manage our wedding she is an absolute angel and she was on the ball we loved her so much we had her as our celebrant she is 10/10 everything was 10/10 .
The rooms are also stunning so whether you are looking for a little break or to get married out there we would 100% recommend it. It was absolutely perfect x"

"Getting married on the rooftop with views of the mountains and lake under the warm autumn sun was an absolute dream. But what made our weekend truly special were the people at The Lakeside Hotel & Leisure Centre. From Shauna, our incredible wedding coordinator, to Catherine, to Ken on reception, the banqueting team, bar staff and every single staff member, the care and hospitality was outstanding. Shauna guided us through every step, listened to what we wanted, and took care of every detail so we could just enjoy the day. Our guests felt so welcomed and are still raving about the service and the delicious food which was in abundance. The Lakeside gave us a real "home from home" feeling and we felt so looked after from start to finish. Thank you to the whole team again for making our day perfect. We are so proud to now be part of The Lakeside’s wedding history and can’t recommend them highly enough. We wish the Lakeside and their fantastic team every continued success."

"We recently got married at the lakeside hotel in Killaloe. We had the most beautiful day and the staff were incredibly responsive and very helpful in ensuring our day ran smoothly. The food was delicious, bar service was excellent and the rooms were top notch. Catherine, our wedding coordinator and in-house celebrant was so helpful and kind. She made our experience so memorable and incredibly stress free. The lakeside is a lovely hotel and we are looking forward to visiting again soon."

Shauna, our wedding coordinator, was truly amazing. She went above and beyond for us throughout the entire process, always making sure that anything we needed or wanted was taken care of. She was so kind, supportive and genuinely caring that, by the end of it all, it honestly felt like she had become a friend rather than just our wedding coordinator. We couldn’t have wished for anyone better to have by our side. Catherine was equally fantastic and together they made everything feel so easy and stress-free. "We had our wedding at the Lakeside Hotel Killaloe in July this year, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, everything was absolutely fantastic.
The service was exceptional, and all of the staff were so friendly, helpful and attentive throughout the day. The location is absolutely beautiful and made the perfect setting for our wedding. The food was also amazing, and so many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed it.
A special mention has to go to Shauna, the wedding coordinator, who was absolutely incredible. She was so helpful, organised and supportive in the lead-up to the wedding and on the day itself. She made everything feel so easy and ensured the whole day ran smoothly, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment.

"If you are getting married, you NEED to do it at the lakeside. Catherine Lewis, the wedding and events sales manager, is the most efficient and wonderful person to work with. I truly could not have gotten married without her, and the day went so so smoothly because of her expertise and planning. Coming from the United States, I was scared to be planning my wedding from afar, but the Lakeside made my dreams come true, and some.
Beyond that, we stayed at the Lakeside a total of 4 days and the entire staff went above and beyond to make us more than comfortable and welcome. We were so sad to leave, and will be returning as soon as we can."

"Our day was absolutely perfect top to bottom. I would recommend booking the Lakeside for all the normal reasons that you’re hear, the venue is gorgeous, the food is beyond unreal (which are all true) but the reason I think you can’t have your wedding anywhere else besides, the Lakeside is because of Catherine and her unreal staff. My husband and I truly felt like guests at our own Wedding and Catherine and her staff went above and beyond to facilitate our dream day. Two months later and it’s still all we and our guests can talk about."

"We had our wedding here in April 2026. We had the BEST day which was all made possible by the wonderful staff. Catherine and Shauna helped plan the celebrations and no request was too much. They helped organise hair and makeup for guests the morning of the wedding and gave us lots of other vendor recommendations. They answered all my many questions and no request was too much for them. Our guests remarked how helpful all other staff were. Accommodation was great and good value for money. Food was delicious and we throughly enjoyed our wedding dinner and breakfast the next morning. The function room was set up so beautifully on the day. Any extra requests like sweetcart set up, pictures besides wedding cake, etc. were done for us. The location is beautiful and it was one of the first reasons we booked this hotel. We look forward to visiting again soon.

We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding venue at The Lakeside Hotel. The venue itself was absolutely beautiful, and the food was brilliant, so many of our guests commented on how amazing it was. The staff truly couldn’t have done more for us. Nothing was ever a problem; everything was handled so efficiently and with genuine care. Our coordinator, Catherine, was incredibly responsive and quick to answer any questions, making the whole planning process stress-free. The entire staff at the Lakeside made my family and friends feel at home. They went above and beyond to make myself and Gerard feel special, and were willing to help prepare for the wedding in any way possible. The grounds of the hotel are stunning, as well as the town. In addition, the food was beautiful and the reception space was perfect for our crowd. The guest rooms provided a welcome respite to many guests from abroad. My only regret is that I can't relive the day over! Thanks to Catherine and Emma and team for being part of our special day. This place is a gem, and it is a PERFECT spot for your wedding. “Before we even had our initial visit with the Lakeside Hotel, we received a welcome text message from the wedding team which was so professional and thoughtful. We knew from that moment on that the wedding team were treating our day as special and that this was the venue for our wedding reception. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the wedding planning, this was down to the Catherine and the wedding team who were out of this world. There was constant communication from start to finish and even on the day we were consulted about things, but this was done so efficiently and discretely. Emma and her staff were also exceptional for the meal and when the band started, she was so efficient and kept us up to date at all times. Our family and friends absolutely loved everything about the Lakeside Hotel and to this day are still talking about it."
