"We had our wedding here on the 7th of August it was the most fabulous setting , the staff were absolutely amazing the food was incredible and everything was absolutely perfect. We had Catherine Lewis wedding coordinator manage our wedding she is an absolute angel and she was on the ball we loved her so much we had her as our celebrant she is 10/10 everything was 10/10 .
The rooms are also stunning so whether you are looking for a little break or to get married out there we would 100% recommend it. It was absolutely perfect x"

"Getting married on the rooftop with views of the mountains and lake under the warm autumn sun was an absolute dream. But what made our weekend truly special were the people at The Lakeside Hotel & Leisure Centre. From Shauna, our incredible wedding coordinator, to Catherine, to Ken on reception, the banqueting team, bar staff and every single staff member, the care and hospitality was outstanding. Shauna guided us through every step, listened to what we wanted, and took care of every detail so we could just enjoy the day. Our guests felt so welcomed and are still raving about the service and the delicious food which was in abundance. The Lakeside gave us a real "home from home" feeling and we felt so looked after from start to finish. Thank you to the whole team again for making our day perfect. We are so proud to now be part of The Lakeside’s wedding history and can’t recommend them highly enough. We wish the Lakeside and their fantastic team every continued success."

Shauna is a brilliant coordinator and was always at hand any time she was needed. Cannot fault anything. We also had our day two at the hotel. Food, service and atmosphere were brilliant all weekend"

"We recently got married at the lakeside hotel in Killaloe. We had the most beautiful day and the staff were incredibly responsive and very helpful in ensuring our day ran smoothly. The food was delicious, bar service was excellent and the rooms were top notch. Catherine, our wedding coordinator and in-house celebrant was so helpful and kind. She made our experience so memorable and incredibly stress free. The lakeside is a lovely hotel and we are looking forward to visiting again soon."

"We had our wedding at the Lakeside Hotel Killaloe in July this year, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, everything was absolutely fantastic.
The service was exceptional, and all of the staff were so friendly, helpful and attentive throughout the day. The location is absolutely beautiful and made the perfect setting for our wedding. The food was also amazing, and so many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed it.
A special mention has to go to Shauna, the wedding coordinator, who was absolutely incredible. She was so helpful, organised and supportive in the lead-up to the wedding and on the day itself. She made everything feel so easy and ensured the whole day ran smoothly, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment.
We honestly couldn’t recommend the Lakeside Hotel Killaloe enough as a wedding venue. The staff, the service, the food and the stunning location all came together to make our wedding day so special and memorable.

"If you are getting married, you NEED to do it at the lakeside. Catherine Lewis, the wedding and events sales manager, is the most efficient and wonderful person to work with. I truly could not have gotten married without her, and the day went so so smoothly because of her expertise and planning. Coming from the United States, I was scared to be planning my wedding from afar, but the Lakeside made my dreams come true, and some.
Beyond that, we stayed at the Lakeside a total of 4 days and the entire staff went above and beyond to make us more than comfortable and welcome. We were so sad to leave, and will be returning as soon as we can."

Shauna and Catherine were an absolute pleasure to deal with during our wedding planning and we couldn't recommend the Lakeside Hotel and their staff enough.

"We had our wedding here in April 2026. We had the BEST day which was all made possible by the wonderful staff. Catherine and Shauna helped plan the celebrations and no request was too much. They helped organise hair and makeup for guests the morning of the wedding and gave us lots of other vendor recommendations. They answered all my many questions and no request was too much for them. Our guests remarked how helpful all other staff were. Accommodation was great and good value for money. Food was delicious and we throughly enjoyed our wedding dinner and breakfast the next morning. The function room was set up so beautifully on the day. Any extra requests like sweetcart set up, pictures besides wedding cake, etc. were done for us. The location is beautiful and it was one of the first reasons we booked this hotel. We look forward to visiting again soon.

"We would highly recommend The Lakeside Hotel Killaloe for weddings. We had our wedding ceremony & reception there and it was one of the best decision we made. A massive shout-out to the wedding coordinator Catherine, . From day one, Catherine made everything feel so easy and stress free. No question was too small and she always got back to us straight away. No request was too big or small. We knew after the first viewing and meeting this was the place for us. The day itself was just perfect. Grounds and function room looked amazing ,every tiny detail was perfect. Food was incredible, all our guests were so complimentary of everything"

"We recently had our wedding at The Lakeside Hotel, and it truly was the best day of our lives. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, set against the most beautiful lakeside backdrop that made our day feel so special and memorable. The staff were incredible from start to finish. Every single person we dealt with was kind, warm, and so obliging. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they made us feel completely at ease throughout the entire process. A special mention has to go to Catherine Lewis, who was simply exceptional. She brought every single one of our wishes to life and went above and beyond in every way possible. Her attention to detail, calm presence, and genuine care made such a difference. We felt completely supported, and thanks to her, everything ran perfectly on the day. The food was another highlight. Our guests are still talking about it. There was so much of it, and every course was absolutely delicious. It really added to the whole experience and made the day even more enjoyable for everyone. The grounds are incredible and made for the most gorgeous photos, and the rooms were spotless, comfortable, and beautifully presented. Everything about the hotel reflects such a high standard. “Before we even had our initial visit with the Lakeside Hotel, we received a welcome text message from the wedding team which was so professional and thoughtful. We knew from that moment on that the wedding team were treating our day as special and that this was the venue for our wedding reception. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the wedding planning, this was down to the Catherine and the wedding team who were out of this world. There was constant communication from start to finish and even on the day we were consulted about things, but this was done so efficiently and discretely. Emma and her staff were also exceptional for the meal and when the band started, she was so efficient and kept us up to date at all times. Our family and friends absolutely loved everything about the Lakeside Hotel and to this day are still talking about it."
