9-18 Months Prior to your Wedding Day
- Book the Church or Registry Office
- Choose the Hotel for your Reception
- Set a budget & decide who is responsible for what
- Select your bridal party
- Make a first draft of guests
6-12 Months Prior to your Wedding Day
- Book your honeymoon, especially if you are travelling at peak season
- Organise wedding dress and Bridal Party attire
- Book entertainment, band, DJ etc
- Enroll for pre-marriage course
- Block book accommodation for your guests
- Order invitations
- Book transport for the Wedding Day
- Book photographer
3-5 Months prior to your Wedding Day
- Order wedding cake and check with hotel the size and type of stands available
- Organise wedding flowers, and consult with the hotel to see what they provide
- Finalise your invitation list
- Choose and order your wedding rings
- If you choose to have favours for your guest order them now
- Finalise honey moon plans and arrange for passports/visas etc
- Make appointment with hair dressers and beauticians
2 Months prior to your Wedding Day
- Send out invitations
- Keep a record all acceptances and refusals
- Schedule final fittings for the bridal party
- Make a seating plan for the reception
- Confirm menu details with hotel
1 Month Prior to your Wedding Day
- Meet with the Wedding Venue Banqueting Manager and confirm all details for the day, menu, numbers, table plan, times, drinks reception, toast drink, bar extension
- Arrange with your hair dresser and beautician for a trial
- Organise cloths for going away
- Buy gifts for your bridal party
